ABOUT ME

I am a Professor of Economics at the MEF University, Department of Economics. My main area of research is development economics. Particularly I work on regional and spatial analysis of economic development.

My very recent research agenda deals with issues such as spatial deindustrialization patterns, geography of discontent (e.g. Covid-19, renewable energy, EU perception, rising populism and voting patterns among others) and geography of innovation.
